Leading handfasting’s is a joy and often filled with smiles, laughter and yes – sometimes tears too. But they are always uplifting.
I create and lead Handfasting’s that include your own personal beliefs; many have a wide range or mix of beliefs which include Wicca, the Triple Goddess, Old Norse, Shamanism and Paganism. Welcoming people from all walks of life as we work together creating a ceremony that meets your expectations, hopes, and dreams and it reflects your spiritual path. Be it just for yourselves or a wider party.

Working together we’ll create your own personal ceremony, one that is unique and includes things that are important to you both. I want to be inclusive – getting your ideas and helping you plan them out. The ceremony is always one written especially for you both.
We hold these ceremonies in a circle or seated (or we have a mix of both depending on the aged guests). We hold them mainly outside, but they work inside too.
We can call in the Directions using words of your choice; and very often guests join in.
What can I offer as a handfasting celebrant? When a couple reaches out to me it’s usually by email and they’re looking for a date and price. Without knowing too much I can offer a broad quote.
Next, we chat on the phone and then set up a date to meet where we go through what they’re looking for – what’s important to you. I offer an outline and give a quote for the day which includes a copy of the ceremony and a rehearsal if you want.
Normally a booking form is completed and a £100 deposit paid (I return 50% of the deposit should anything drastically change), this then books you into the diary and I will not change this for any other couple.
Together we’ll have decided what to include in the ceremony and who will action it and our rehearsal date. The following weeks and months involve writing and editing the ceremony. Where you started – will not always be where you end as a couple recently told me! It can be as complicated or as simple as you like – it truly is up to you.
I work mainly in the West Midlands but do travel further to Staffordshire, Gloucestershire and Shropshire.
